Why does Kopp Verlag allow its resident Islamophobe Udo Ulfkotte to continually publish lies on its Web site? Well, I guess I know the answer: Kopp Verlag specializes in paranoid - and completely false - conspiracy theories. Among Ulfkotte's many lies is his assertion that the United Sates is growing its stockpile of nuclear weapons on German soil, that President Obama is a chain-smoking alcoholic, and that President Obama prohibits prayer in American soup kitchens for the poor. Now Dr. Ulfkotte has come out with yet another lie: President Obama ordered US troops to burn Bibles:
(According to President Obama, the planned buring of the Koran on Sept. 11, 2010 could lead to suicide attacks by Islamic militants in America and Europe. Obama condemn this action along with Secretary of State Clinton. On Thursday an American bishop warned of serious consequences for Christian minorities living in Muslim countries.
It's interesting to ponder why people would imagine that burning a Koran would be an insult to Muslims, since these same politicians welcomed the burning of Bibles last year. )
Dr. Ulfkotte was referring to this incident:
Military personnel threw away, and ultimately burned, confiscated Bibles that were printed in the two most common Afghan languages amid concern they would be used to try to convert Afghans, a Defense Department spokesman said Tuesday.
The unsolicited Bibles sent by a church in the United States were confiscated about a year ago at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan because military rules forbid troops of any religion from proselytizing while deployed there, Lt. Col. Mark Wright said.
Only problem is, the incident happened in early 2008, before Barack Obama was elected president and nearly a year before he took office.
Why the constant stream of vicious lies against President Obama? To Ulfkotte, President Obama is not a Christian, but rather an African Muslim. Africans, in his eyes, are savages that are out to massacre white (Aryan) people. He warned that Africans would slaughter German visitors to the World Cup Soccer matches in South Africa - yet another lie, as it turned out.
