Strahler 70

It is time again to remind everyone that Ahmadinejad never said something like "Israel should be wiped off the map". This is a propaganda lie, at least a very bad translation of what A. really said:"This regime that is occupying Qods must vanish from the pages of history."

And it was the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in first place who extended that lie:"The Iranian President is talking about the total destruction and annihilation of the jewish people."

Hochhuth seem to be just one more in long row of people falling for that propaganda lie. Iran has never attacked another country than its own. Bad enough, but wouldn't it be a very bad joke if 'the jews succeed in plunging the nations into a world war' based on a propaganda lie?

Before this background, Grass' poetry makes absolute sense. Israel needs a regime change.

Strahler your thoughts have created a devious idea in my mind. Maybe we should provide Israel with all the tools it requires to further isolate and oppress the Palestinians:

When by relying on our weapons and security equipment the Israelis have gone so far as to become recognized as a regime like South Africa in the 80s, then finally the ever lasting victims will also receive the stigma of the bad guys. When everyone realizes that even they can act as such, then - finally - will we Germans be free :-)

I never thought that one day I might support the Israeli cause :-D
