Germany's other, unseen "migrant" crisis

They arrive by the thousands each day - largely unseen, hidden away in hospitals and clinics. Not one speaks a word of German.  Instead they scream their demands day and night for food and precious services. Integration?  Forget it; years away.  They have zero understanding of our great Judeo-Christian values and couldn't care less about the "deutsche Leitkultur." And yet, the Lügenpresse is silent about this scandal. Yet another indication of the CIA's total control of the German media?

Xavier Naidoo - The Truther Troubadour

How tone deaf were the officials at public broadcaster ARD to choose Xavier Naidoo to represent Germany in the 2016 Eurovision song contest?

Xavier Naidoo, a singer of Indian and African heritage whose albums have sold millions, was selected as Germany's candidate by public broadcaster ARD on Thursday, but the uproar in newspapers and social media prompted a swift change of heart.The Eurovision Song Contest started on May 24, 1956 as a television show and has been continuing since the date as an international contests,

But even after Naidoo was forced to withdraw, the ARD officials were in denial:

"Xavier Naidoo is an outstanding singer, who is neither a racist nor homophobic, in my opinion," said Thomas Schreiber, entertainment coordinator of Germany's public broadcaster ARD, of which NDR is a part, on Saturday. "It was obvious that he is a person who polarizes, but the vehemence of the reactions surprised us. We have misjudged the issue."

Du solltest dich schämen

Hey, it's all here right in front of you, Herr Schreiber.  Anti-American conspiracy ("entire German press bought and sold by the Atlantik-Bruecke"), 9/11 Truther gospel ("9/11/ London/ Madrid - everybody knows that al Qaida is really the CIA") and anti-Semitism (Angela Merkel receives the Warburg Prize "you should be ashamed"). The Eric M.Warburg Award is presented to individuals who have contributed to Germany's place in the Atlantic alliance. Past recipients included Helmut Kohl and the late Richard von Weizsäcker. Angela Merkel "should be ashamed" to be in such company?

Of course, for the large conspiracy theory community in Germany, Eric Warburg, along with the House of Rothschild, is a central figure in the circle of Jewish Bankers who control the US Federal Reserve Bank and  launched World War I, World War II and even funded the Holocaust:

Naidoo's 2009 rap song "Raus aus dem Reichstag" has the following lyrics:

This caught the attention of another Eurovision contestant country: Israel. From the Jerusalem Post:

"Singer whose lyrics deride Jews, gays, to sing for Germany at Eurovision -In a song released after the 2008 financial crisis, Naidoo referred to the German-Jewish Rothschild banking family as "Baron Deadschild."

Question for Thomas Schreiber and the ARD team:  Did you really believe the rest of the international community would not take notice?

#NachDenkSeiten: US seeking nuclear annihilation of Europe

The anti-American conspiracy site NachDenkSeiten is expanding its role as a Kremlin propaganda outlet.  I had already blogged about Wolfgang Bittner - the children's book author who is now an "intelligence expert" - and his pro-Putin book Die Eroberung Europas durch die USA ("The Conquest of Europe by the US"). Bittner's "thesis" is that United States has ruined Germany's natural alliance with Russia by forcing Putin to annex the Crimea with military force and forcing him to send thousands of Russian troops and weapons into Eastern Ukraine.  Putin's aggression is entirely the fault of the United States and its vassals in the NATO alliance.  Once again, Germany is "victim" (Opfer) of American imperialism. 

BIttner's book was pretty much dismissed by knowledgeable reviewers, but, according to NachDenkSeiten, Bittner is intentionally shunned by Germany's CIA-controlled mainstream media.  But now, amazingly, Die Eroberung Europas durch die USA is available in a new edition with an addendum where he outlines the most recent treachery of the United States:

"Der Autor geht in einem „Nachtrag 2015“ insbesondere auf die methodische Strategie der US-Regierung und der NATO hinsichtlich Westeuropas und Russlands ein, wie auch auf die desolate, sich immer mehr zuspitzende Situation in der Ukraine nach dem Staatsstreich vom Februar 2014."

What Bittner "reveals" in this Nachtrag 2015 is nothing less than America's plan to wage nuclear war on the European continent:

„Die Grenze zum Wahnsinn ist längst überschritten, wenn es in einem CSIS-Report [Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington] heißt, begrenzte taktische Atomschläge seien möglich, ohne ‚die amerikanische Heimat‘ zu gefährden. Das ist die Theorie, sozusagen die Planungsphase. Aber in der Praxis des bislang noch Kalten Krieges ist eine neue Stufe der Eskalation erreicht, wenn gemeldet wird, dass die USA im Rahmen einer neuen Atomstrategie der NATO Anfang September 2015 Abwürfe von Übungsatombomben in Lettland vorgenommen haben und des Weiteren per Gesetz die Möglichkeiten geschaffen wurden, in der Ukraine Atomwaffen zu stationieren.“

("We have now crossed the threshold of insanity when a CSIS Report states that limited nuclear attacks are possible without impacting the American homeland. That theory is now in the planning phase. But in practice we have reached a new stage not seen since the Cold War, when it was reported that the US has dropped dummy nuclear bombs on Latvia in September 2015 as part of NATO's new nuclear strategy, and has created the legal framework for stationing nuclear weapons in the Ukraine.") 

What are Bittner's primary sources for these "explosive" revelation?  BIttner points to former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski and his 1997 book The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives. Brzezinski is interesting to read, but the book dates from the Clinton presidency, and does Bittner even realize that Brzezinski hasn't held an official government position since 1981 and the end of Jimmy Carter's presidency? The other source - a favorite of German conspiracy theorists - is George Friedman and his private intelligence group Stratfor. Stratfor is pretty much of a joke ever since the 2012 Wikileaks put out of millions of internal Stratfor e-mails and documents that exposed much of Stratfor's "intelligence" as bogus. Nobody in Washington believes Friedman has any influence or credibility on US foreign policy, but the fact that he has a Jewish-sounding last name impresses Bittner and the German conspiracy theory community.  

But what about Bittner's claim that the US "dropped dummy nuclear bombs on Latvia in September 2015 as part of NATO's new nuclear strategy".  The source of this information was a New York Times article that reported on a June 2015 joint US-Latvia military exercise to shore up NATO's eastern flank, Nowhere in the article does it state that the dummy bombs dropped 180 miles from the Russian border were Übungsatombomben. This joint US-Latvian exercise was a response to Putin's sending troops and heavy weapons into Eastern Ukraine as well as to his nuclear sabre rattling:

“Let me remind you that Russia is one of the world’s biggest nuclear powers,” Putin told Russian youth last summer. “These are not just words — this is the reality. What’s more, we are strengthening our nuclear deterrent capability and developing our armed forces.”

But, of course, for Wolfgang Bittner and Putin's"useful idiots" at NachDenkSeiten,he only has peace and goodwill in his heart.

 

Trump: We need to register all Muslims

This is a new low, even for Donald Trump:

"All Muslims living in the United States might be forced to register their personal information in a federal database if Donald Trump is elected president.

On Thursday night, the billionaire Republican presidential candidate told an NBC reporter that all American Muslims “have to be” required to registered in a database in the wake of deadly terror attacks in Paris and Beirut. The attacks were carried out by ISIS, a group that proclaims itself to be Islamic — though many Muslims and religious scholars disagree that the group can be credibly considered part of the religion.

“I would certainly implement that — absolutely,” Trump said when asked about forcing registration of the 5 million to 12 million Muslims living in America."

I wonder how The Donald came up with this brilliant plan?

But Trump is now leading all Republican candidates among likely voters and has a very energetic base of loyal supporters.

German grandmother sentenced to prison for Holocaust denial

This is ridiculous:

"A German grandmother aged 87 has been sentenced to ten months in jail for denying the Holocaust and saying Auschwitz was 'just a labour camp'.  

Ursula Haverbeck, who is a friend of Gudrun Burwitz - elderly daughter of Nazi S.S. chief Heinrich Himmler - was sentenced in a court in Hamburg for sedition over an interview she gave to a TV station denying that Jews were murdered in extermination camps.

In the interview with the ARD network she claimed the death camp of Auschwitz in Nazi occupied Poland, where at least 1.1 million people were murdered, was 'nothing more than a labour camp.'"

Maybe I'm a First Amendment absolutist but I value freedom of speech above all other civil rights - even the freedom to speak nonsense - even to deny the Holocaust.  What good does it do to lock up Ursula Haverbeck and make her a martyr to all of her neo-Nazi fans? 

In Die Zeit, Thomas Fischer makes an elegant argument for criminalizing Holocaust denial:

Deshalb ist es richtig, die "Auschwitzlüge" zu bestrafen. Man sollte den Tatbestand in der Wirklichkeit auch tatsächlich anwenden und sich auf das übliche Gerede der Täter nicht einlassen. Und wenn ein liberaler Strafrechtler behauptet, da werde mit dem Strafrecht ein "Tabu" geschützt: Ja, stimmt. Das Grundrecht der Meinungsfreiheit steht dem nicht entgegen. Niemand hat ein aus dem Mensch-Sein entspringendes "Grundrecht", Mord und Völkermord gutzuheißen. Denn das "Leugnen" ist hier ja viel mehr als ein vergangenheitsbezogenes Bestreiten einer behaupteten Wahrheit. Die es öffentlich tun, meinen damit immer auch die Gegenwart und ihre düsteren Träume von einer Zukunft. 

Of course, advocating violence against a group or an individual does not fall under protected speech, even in the United States. 

Very lively and interesting comments in the readers' forum to Fischer's essay.  This one, I think, hits the target:

Aus US-Amerikanischer Sicht ist die deutsche Meinungsfreiheit ein Witz, weil sie nur so lange gilt, so lange man keine allzu unbequeme Meinung hat. Es handelt sich also um eine Schönwetter-Meinungsfreiheit. Schönwetter und/oder Mainstream Meinungen bedürfen aber keines besonderen Abwehrrechtes gegenüber dem Staat.

(From an American standpoint German freedom of expression is a joke, since only applies to inoffensive opinions.  It is a "fair weather" freedom of expression. But fair-weather or consensus opinions don't require any special protections from the state.")

Sahra Wagenknecht: USA responsible for the Paris attacks

I thought that Sahra and "Oskar the Clown" would at least wait until after the dead were buried in Paris before blaming the United States for the terrible attacks.  But Sahra couldn't wait - or perhaps Oskar was whispering "Fuck the US Imperialism" in her ear at a delicate moment.  In any case, Sahra posted on her Facebook page today: 

Der Westen hat das Monster Islamischer Staat mitgeschaffen. Schluss mit dieser zynischen und verlogenen Politik. Deutschland und Europa dürfen sich an den Öl- und Gas-Kriegen der USA und ihrer Regime-Change-Politik nicht länger beteiligen.

("The West helped create the Islamic State monster. Stop this cynical and dishonest policy. Germany and Europe should no longer participate in the oil and gas wars of the USA and its regime change policies.")

If Sahra was even a little informed about current affairs, she would know that the United States is now an exporter of oil and gas. And the "theory" that the US was directly involved in creating ISIS is - along with "9/11 was an inside job" - a central tenet (conspiracy theory)  of Die LInke and its partners in Moscow. In any event, the United States will support - and lead- with France the actions to destroy the Islamic State and avenge the loss of life in Paris while Sahra and Oskar stand behind Putin's effort to prop up his friend Assad.

Ulfkotte: Wave of migrants behind the Paris attacks

  The terrible attacks in Paris had barely ended before fake journalist Udo Ulfkotte placed the blame on the flood of Middle Eastern migrants who have made their way to Europe.  Ulkotte posted his thoughts on the conspiracy site Kopp-Online: 

Der Islamische Staat hat sich in zahlreichen Internet-Botschaften damit gerühmt, dass man ein Heer von Kämpfern in Europa habe. Die radikalen Moslems kamen mit den »Flüchtlingen«, die wir liebevoll aufnehmen, kleiden und umsorgen. Wir wollten das nicht hören. Die Anschläge kamen alles, aber ganz sicher nicht überraschend. Die Sprecher des IS haben seit Monaten angekündigt, europäische Ballungszentren unbewohnbar zu machen, weil die Bürger dort mit Terror solange überzogen werden sollen, bis sie freiwillig zum Islam übertreten. Paris war eine der Metropolen, für welche solche Terroranschläge angekündigt worden waren.

("In numerous internet communications the Islamic State has proudly announced that it has an army of fighters in Europe. The radical Muslims came along with the "refugees", which we happily allowed in, clothed and took care of.  We didn't want to hear the message. The attacks came, but it was hardly surprising. Angela Merkel and anyone who provides aid to the migrants are complicit in the terror:

Petition for Germany to Join Russian Federation

An enterprising German citizen is circulating an online petition for Germany to leave NATO and join the Russian Federation:

Wollen wir uns wirklich von ein paar irren Bankstern und von unseren gekauften Politikern weiterhin zur "Speerspitze gegen Russland" mobilisieren lassen? Möchten wir weiterhin die Demütigungen Russlands sowie völkerrechtswidrige Sanktionen (Kriegshandlungen) gegen Russland im Namen unserer Regierung dulden? Wollen wir uns weiterhin an einem Nato-Angriffsbündnis beteiligen und an den Folgen erliegen.

("Do we really want to be mobilized by a few crazy banksters and by our corrupt politicians to become the "spearhead against Russia"? Do we really want to tolerate the humiliation of Russia as well as the illegal sanctions (military activities) against Russia in the name of our government? Do we really want to keep participating in this NATO "Attack Alliance" and suffer the consequences.?)

The only way out of this mess to join with Putin and become part of "Greater Russia".

Die BRICS sind die Zukunft! TIPP, NSA, Ceta, ESM, Target2... sind die Vergewaltiger der deutschen Bevölkerung. So far, over 700 people have signed the petition.  It is interesting to read some of the comments of the supporters.  To be sure, they reject the liberal policies of the West and embrace Putin:

Wir müssen endlich aufwachen und erkennen dass Russland nicht der Feind ist sondern unsere ach so tollen "Verbündeten" die USA, welche uns Deutsche eh nur als Vasall ansieht nicht mehr und nicht weniger, von Gleichberechtigung keine Spur.....

Deswegen würde ich diesen Schritt mehr als begrüßen.
Lasst uns Russland/Putin die Hand reichen und wir werden sehen was echte Demokratie und echter Frieden ist!! :

Alternative für Deutschland (AfD)

The far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD) is now polling at its highest level ever in Germany, neck-in-neck now with the Left Party (Die Linke) as the largest opposition party:

Support for the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party rose to nine percent in a poll released Sunday, a day after thousands of its supporters joined an anti-refugee rally in Berlin.

The AfD party is the chief critic of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's open-door policy towards refugees fleeing war and persecution. Europe's top economy faces a record influx of up to one million asylum seekers this year.

Backing for the AfD was up one point to reach the highest level in a year, and stood at 14 percent in formerly communist eastern Germany, Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported, as the country expects to take in one million asylum-seekers this year.

The AfD tries to distant itself from the neo-Nazi NPD, but as far as I can see, they both swim in the same brown swamp.

My Message to Paul Krugman Concerning NachDenkSeiten

For several years the Website NachDenkSeiten has been publishing translations of Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman's columns in the New York Times. 

I sent the following message to Dr. Krugman, who is a professor at Princeton University:

"Hi Professor Krugman,

I follow the German media and notice that your New York Times columns are routinely translated and republished in their entirety in the very popular but controversial Website NachDenkSeiten (www.nachdenkseiten.de).

NachDenkSeiten is an anti-American conspiracy Website, which blames the United States for every calamity that happens on the planet. Typically, it is the CIA behind every event – from the WTC 9/11 attacks, to the Ukrainian Maidan protests, to the flood of refugees from Syria.  The content is sometimes reprinted on the Kremlin propaganda network Russia Today (German outlet RT Deutsch).

Nachdenkseiten also provides a forum for “anti-Zionist” activists who routinely question the legitimacy of the state of Israel.

My question is: did the publishers of NachDenkSeiten obtain your permission to reprint your columns?  If so, are you aware of the anti-American, anti-Israel slant of the site?
